Bark River International Raceway Features Michigans Only Professional Off Road Races
Delta Countys Bark River International Raceway features two great weekends of top off road racing annually. This summer the pulse-pounding, high-flying, dirt-hurling action will take place July 11 – 13 and August 8 – 10. The races feature a variety of buggies and cool craze trucks driven by popular professional drivers from across the country, offering race fans of all ages top racing action that will put anyone on the edge of their seat!
In 2008 The Lucas Oil World Series of Off Road Racing (WSORR) will feature the following 2008 Pro race classes: PRO 4x4 Pickup, PRO 2WD Pickup, PRO Light Pickup, PRO Super Buggy and PRO Ultra 4x4. WSORR will also continue its popular SRT division of racing, which will include the following classes: SRT Super Stock Truck, SRT Stock Truck, SRT 1600 Buggy, SRT 1600 Light Buggy, and SRT Formula 4x4 SUV.
Fans are also treated to open pit areas, allowing them access to all of their favorite drivers and on site camping is also available. The races are sanctioned by WSORR and are also broadcast on the nationally televised SPEED channel. Season Passes are now on sale. The cost is $60 per person and includes a reserved seat upgrade (in rows 23 - 26) or a $10 discount on upgrade to rows 27 - 28; upgrade is only available to those who purchase by June 30. Weekend passes for the July or August races are $30 per person and as always, children ages 11 and under are free. Reserved seating is also available for individual purchase for Saturday or Sunday races, the prices and locations are: Top Row (Row 28), $40, Row 27, $10 and Rows 23 – 26, $5 (reserved seating ticket is in addition to gate entry).
